Artwork Guide and FAQs

To make sure your custom cut-out turns out amazing, we need a high-quality image to work with. Below you'll find everything you need to know before uploading your artwork or photo.
What Makes a Good Image?
The bigger and clearer, the better!
Use a digital camera or a modern smartphone.
Your image should be in focus, well-lit, and over 1MB in file size.
Avoid screenshots or images downloaded from social media — these are usually low resolution and won’t print well.
TIP: Open your image on a computer, zoom in until the face fills the screen. Is it still sharp and crisp? If yes, it's good to go!
Recommended Specs:
Minimum resolution: 1500px tall
File size: At least 1MB
Background: Plain or uncluttered preferred
Image type: Full body (head-to-toe) works best for life-size cut-outs
Here’s a tip. Open the image on your computer, zoom in until the subject’s face fills your screen. Is the image still clear and crisp? If so, you’re good to go.
Should I Crop My Image?
If there are other people in frame, then yes - this way it's clear who you want the cut-out to be of. Also, lighter backgrounds work best.
Don’t worry, if we think there is a problem with your image, we’ll be in touch before progressing your order.

Our life-size cut-outs go up to:
